Dr. Sam graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from a college in South Africa in 2004, after a 6 year course of study. Soon after was offered a position at Sir Richard Branson’s private game lodge, as a part of their wellness centre which led him being a pioneer of Chiropractic practice on a cruise ship.

 

He got to treat many clients from over 120 different nationalities, including many Hollywood celebrities and members of the Royal family. After 6 years traveling around the world he met his beautiful wife, Julie it was time to return to land.

 

Starting a position in Malaysia with a health care company as their Director of Clinics involved overseeing 14 Spine and Joint clinics. Sam also spoke at many health care lectures and featured in magazine articles which includes being on the Men’s Health magazine board of health care advisors since 2013. Dr. Sam has special interests in Musculoskeletal Dry needling, Spinal Decompression therapy, Therapeutic Laser and Extracorporeal Shockwave therapy (ESWT).

 

He moved back to Melbourne in 2016, with Julie, his wife and daughter, Miyah, to settle down, and since 2018 also has a very active young Son, Jonan. Dr. Sam is really excited about working as part of an integrated health team, making a difference in people’s health and wellness, as an owner of Physimed Health in Surrey Hills.

Dr. Aaron graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Proficient and experienced in various chiropractic techniques, he served in Malaysia since 2010 and has worked with thousands of clients across all age groups. Aaron is also a sought-after speaker for chiropractic and wellness both locally and internationally. Aaron was instrumental in setting up the  Association of Chiropractic Malaysia (ACM)  professional regulatory body Board. Currently he is an owner of Physimed Health and enjoy helping people get out and stay out of pain.

 

Dr. Aaron has also started up and been the managing director of several successful chiropractic practices. He has, because of his professionalism, always been a trusted member of the society and community, and this is demonstrated by his inclusion in a panel of experts which gives expert opinions in health care related court cases. 

​In addition to being fluent in English, Dr. Aaron is also fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay. 

 

In his spare time, Dr. Aaron loves to whip up gastronomic dishes and has also participated in several cycling and duathlon events. He aims to overcome his fear of the water and take part in a triathlon soon.

Dr Roshan aspires to deliver above and beyond when it comes to delivering care to all his patients which is to offer utmost excellence in care to attain the best results with

Conservative musculoskeletal care. Having been exposed to the healthcare realm from a very young age through both his mother and sister who were both nurses in private clinic and hospitals, he developed a strong passion of emulating their footsteps by being a healthcare provider and ultimately knew he had a lot to offer in the industry.

Roshan graduated in 2015 from a renowned Malaysian medical institute-International Medical University (IMU) and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chiropractic. He has also successfully completed the Australian Chiropractic Board exam at Macquarie University, Sydney. Throughout his journey, Roshan obtained extensive knowledge of highly effective evidence based therapies (Laser Therapy; Shockwave; Spinal Decompression Therapy; Chiropractic care and Rehabilitation), which he applies in the treatment of his patients.

Reaching out to the community and creating awareness on conservative remedy for spinal back pain (including pregnant mothers), headaches, joint pain and relatable neuromusculoskeletal conditions has been his goal. He is fond of delivering up to date and informative health talks to the general public and corporations on a monthly basis during his tenure in Malaysia.  As an ardent supporter of Manchester United and also having keen interests in the sporting realm whilst actively involved in futsal, football and long distance running, he conducted the first ever research in Malaysia at the medical institute on chiropractic care and its efficacy in sports performance; 

The outcome showed promising results and thus inspired him to also work closely with athletes from various range of sports and enable them to enhance their sports performance in the most natural way and reducing sports injuries with an appropriate approach through non-surgical musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Leigh is an experienced chiropractor with local and overseas experience. He is a 1997 graduate of the RMIT Chiropractic program. In addition, he graduated in 2017 with a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Sydney with a keen interest in injury epidemiology, prevention and research. 

Leigh first experienced Chiropractic through treatment of sport injuries as a teenage sprint & long jump athlete. Leigh’s Dad had found relief for chronic back pain through Chiropractic treatments and so introduced the whole family to chiropractic care.

He has worked in south-east Melbourne for the past five years with a practice focused on spinal conditions and sports injuries. He has previously worked as a pioneer chiropractor in Malaysia, developing skills in the treatment of acute and chronic spinal complaints as well as complex cases involving multiple conditions. He worked alongside Dr Sam and Dr Aaron in bringing chiropractic and musculoskeletal treatments to thousands of people in Malaysia.
Leigh utilizes a mix of hands-on care and technologies  in caring for his patients. He combines a range of spinal manipulation techniques with soft tissue massage, exercise,  posture and self-help advice; he has a special interest  in decompression therapy for spinal conditions (eg. Disc, sciatica) and extra-corporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and LASER therapy for the treatment of soft tissue injuries. He has assisted many long term knee pain patients  with unloader knee bracing for knee osteoarthritis. 
In his spare time, Leigh is a keen participant in road cycling, golf and building Lego architecture models.

Alex Van Der End,

Dr. Jordan graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. Jordan has a passion for low back/neck pain, family care, sports injury and rehabilitation, specifically muscle strengthening and  proprioception training. After injuring his knee at his state league soccer match, he sought out to recover with chiropractic therapy. He was blown away by the results and the recovery of his knee, that he pursued to join the chiropractic profession. He has also competed in state level swimming and local volleyball. 

 

Additionally, he has a keen interest in strengthening and rehabilitation. He has worked together, as a member of sports Chiropractic Australia, at several CrossFit Allstars Alliance National Finals with local athletes - targeting neck and lower back pain, as well as upper and lower extremities. 

 

In addition to spinal manipulation, he combines a range of different treatment modulaties together such as, soft tissue, laser therapy, extra- corporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), drop piece, flexion/distraction technique and exercise. 

 

In his spare time, Dr. Jordan loves to play volleyball and exercising at the gym. He also enjoys big hikes and living a healthy lifestyle. He is also a mad Collingwood supporter no matter if they win or lose.

Alex's background is as diverse as it is interesting. Before turning to remedial massage therapy, Alex worked for 16 years in Law Enforcement with the Australian Defence Force and Victoria Police through the Department of Justice.  He has also run a number of other successful businesses, including as an Insurance Agent and Financial Advisor, Print Broker and Online Retailer. 

 

In each of these endeavours, Alex has sought to improve people's lot in life.  Alex now brings this same approach and passion of helping people through his massage techniques.  Whatever the issue you may have, Alex will attempt to get you the most out of a professional and quality massage.  Whether you need deep tissue, dry needling, cupping, paediatric, sports or pregnancy massage, Alex has the right massage touch for you.

 

When not massaging people, Alex continues to assist students entering the industry.  He also is a Director of the Massage Association of Australia and training to be a pilot.  One of his plans is to set up a new organisation that flies allied health care workers into remote hospitals or communities to improve the health care provided around Australia.  He is also currently finishing a book to be published on the treatment of Lower Back pain.

Julie Hunter,

Graduated with a Diploma of Health Science, Remedial Therapies in 2006 at Eastern School of Tactile Therapies (ESTT) which led her to starting a career at sea on board the luxury cruise liner the Queen Mary 2, in the 5 star Canyon Ranch Spaclub, a 5 year journey which brought her all around the world, which built her skill levels and confidence in the luxury spa industry as she engaged with people from different nationalities and backgrounds.

Helping people has always been a passion of Julie’s as she aims to see her patients through to a stage of reduced pain and improved muscle condition through a combination of remedial massage, trigger point therapy, stretching and acupressure points.

Outside of work Julie is a full-time mum to 2 young children, she loves gardening, bush walks and cooking

Diana Good,

Diana has strong customer care ethic developed through her extensive background in the hairdressing industry. She believes that the most important aspect of life, is striving to have a positive impact on those around her.

Diana is married to Peter and they have two teenage children who are both keen athletes. Through their love of sport, she has developed a strong interest in health, nutrition and wellbeing.

In 2014 she completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage which increased her interest in allied healthcare and furthered her desire to see people live a healthy, pain free life.

Her favourite pastimes are long walks along the beach or spending an afternoon at the football with her family, who are all mad keen Richmond fanatics!

Bianca Woger,

Bianca has been an accredited practising dietitian (APD) and DA (Dietitians Australia) member since graduating in 2019 in a Master of Dietetics. She also has a Bachelor of Health Sciences with an honours year in Food and Nutrition Sciences. 
 

During her studies Bianca worked with clients across varied clinical areas, developing a proficient knowledge in areas such as malnutrition, general medical, post liver transplant patients, rehabilitation, diabetes, weight management, oncology and gastrointestinal surgery.

Bianca has a special interest in cardiovascular health, and women’s health, specifically nutrition during pregnancy, and gestational diabetes. This interest was developed during Bianca’s time at a women’s hospital where she was exposed to working in the NICU, pregnancy clinics and gestational diabetes group education.

Her main philosophy is to make each client feel comfortable, confident in managing their nutrition and nutrition related conditions and for her clients to feel supported in making these changes.

Stephanie Tam,

Steph is a third year medical student at Monash University, who loves being a part of the Physimed family. It allows her to develop being a good practitioner and seeing patients progress through their journey is meaningful. Furthermore, the doctors and staff here are very eager to teach her new things, and she hopes to continue working with the team in the future to provide holistic treatment to each and every patient. 

Outside of work, Steph also enjoys playing the cello, and has been involved in many orchestral ensembles throughout the years including the Australian Youth Orchestra and Corpus Medicorum. She also has a keen appreciation for art, and hopes to travel all over the world to explore different cultures.
