Accelerated healing • Drug-free pain relief • Proven results
Shockwave Therapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment that delivers controlled acoustic waves into injured tissue. These pressure waves stimulate a biological repair response within the body — encouraging blood vessel formation, breaking down chronic inflammation, reducing pain, and activating stem-cell activity.
Originally embraced by elite sporting organisations and professional athletes, shockwave is now widely recognised as a powerful solution for stubborn musculoskeletal injuries.
Why Shockwave Is So Effective
Tendons are slow to heal because they have a limited blood supply. Shockwave directly targets these areas, helping the body restart a stalled healing process.
Physiological effects include:
- Improved blood circulation at the injury site
- Breaking down of calcification or fibrotic tissue
- Reduced pain signalling within nerves
- Activation of regenerative cells
- Reversal of chronic inflammation
The result is quicker recovery, improved mobility, and longer-lasting relief.
High Success Rate for Tendon Injuries
Clinical studies show that shockwave therapy has up to a 90% success rate for tendon conditions, often producing noticeable improvements within as few as 3–5 sessions.
Many patients report instant or early pain reduction, helping them return to activity sooner and more safely.
Ideal for Stubborn Musculoskeletal Conditions
Shockwave Therapy is especially effective for chronic or hard-to-treat tendon conditions, including:
- Achilles tendinopathy
- Plantar fasciitis / heel pain
- Patellar tendon pain (jumper’s knee)
- Tennis or golfer’s elbow
- Rotator cuff tendinopathy
- Hamstring or gluteal tendon pain
- Shin pain from overuse
Whether caused by sport, work demands, or repetitive strain, shockwave can help restart tissue repair where other treatments have plateaued.
